Nobody wants to diet they people diet because they have to

Do you know what I like about dieting? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. All of the foods that you like to eat have a certain percentage of sugar, carbs, or something else to make them taste good. Diets suck! The reason companies add sugar to everything is the fact that people don't like to eat cardboard! Food that is bad for you really does taste good and food that is good for you tastes bad, because it doesn't have the sugar, carbs, and preservatives that make it taste good.

Check out this example.

My wife and I are at a restaurant and looking over the menu.

My wife asks me, "Honey, do you see anything that looks good?"

I respond, "Everything on the menu looks good, but none of it I can have. I'm trying out a diet for the New Year."

"What can you have on your diet?"

"Things that taste like crap."

"Tell me how you really feel."

The waiter comes over and asks, "Do you have any questions."

"Yeah. I have some quest…

What word was that? Time for the Vchip! Part 1

Disclaimer: A few days ago, for some strange reason, I picked up "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer," and had a few moments to read it. He explains in the introduction that there isn't a singular person named Tom Sawyer, but Tom is a composite or various kids he has met and combined their stories into one central archetype. Thus, the stories I talk about in this blog have some elements of my kids, but also the stories shared by other parents, which happen to be funny and entertaining. At the end of the day; the blog is to educate, inform, and entertain parents. So sit tight and enjoy the ride.

As a parent of a young kid, you are the primary influencer on them. You and TV. Maybe other kids ... Like a brother or a sister? But mostly ... it is you. They smile when you smile. They are always looking for your approval. This golden age of parenting is when they are the most receptive to your wisdom. They grow up to be an old kid.
